I started my career as a nurse working at the bedside in the Neonatal ICU just short of 6 years. The work was very challenging, but rewarding. After moving to Richmond, I decided it was time to pursue an advanced degree. I was fortunate enough to gain acceptance into the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program at The University of Virginia for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) tract. I completed my clinical rotations through The Jackson Center at VCU, Richmond VA Medical Center, and through the pediatric/adolescent unit at Tucker Pavilion, and graduated with honors in 2017.

I am board certified and licensed to practice in the state of Virginia. I have been working as a PMHNP for the last 8 years in Richmond and the greater Richmond area, having experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings but primarily focusing on outpatient care since 2019.
